Before becoming a dancer, Casey first started as a gymnast at the ripe age of five and continued on until she was thirteen.  After leaving gymnastics, Casey found herself in Theatre for the next four years which ended after attending Perpich Center for the Arts Education of Minnesota with Theatre as her major.  She has always loved the arts, and started studying special fx makeup and fire performance before being pulled towards the wonderful world of Ballroom dance.

Casey was first inspired by such films as Singin’ in the Rain, An American in Paris, It’s Always Fair Weather, and more to get her start in ballroom back in 2012.  After finding that special fx makeup wasn’t giving her the artistic satisfaction she craved, she decided to jump right into training as an instructor at a local studio, which blossomed into where she is now.  Casey finds herself growing as she teaches and trains here at Cinema, and always finds it exciting to develop new skills.
