Kid's Ballroom & Latin

Cinema Ballroom's Kid's program brings the movie Mad Hot Ballroom to the Twin Cities!  Like the kids in Mad Hot Ballroom, kids in the Cinema Ballroom Kid's Program will learn movement, posture, commitment and how to behave like "Ladies & Gentlemen". Kids ages 6 to 14 are welcome.  We have two types of classes for kids at Cinema Ballroom.  Your child can take two classes a week or one depending on their dance goals.

Two Class Options

International Style Ballroom and Latin

International style is the style taught and competed by kids all over the world.  The dances taught in this class are the International versions of waltz, tango, viennese waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, cha cha, samba, rumba, paso doble and jive.

Tuesdays 4:45 pm to 5:30 pm

Social Ballroom and Latin

This class will focus on the American style of dance as well as social dances danced at weddings and dance clubs.  The dances taught in this class are the American style versions of waltz, tango, foxtrot, viennese waltz, cha cha, rumba, east coast swing, bolero, mambo, salsa, etc... 

Thursdays 4:45 pm to 5:30 pm

The next session starts: Thursday, June 6th, 2013.

$15 ala carte or $40 for package of 4 classes
