eileen - Posted on 27 December 2015

Earn free classes, lessons and more!

A fun way for you to earn points and keep your dance training on track…all at the same time!

Cinema Ballroom has partnered with Perkville to provide you, our loyal clients, free stuff, classes, lessons and/or membership to our premier Heel Leader's Club.  It's like a frequent flyer program, except you earn points by doing things like referring friends, talking about us on Facebook, taking classes, taking lessons, etc.

What is Perkville?

Cinema Ballroom has partnered with Perkville to provide an online reward tracking system.  Anytime you check into a lesson, class or an event as a spectator, our point of sale system automatically notifes Perkville and your points are added to your Perkville account for Cinema Ballroom automagically!   You can also earn points by Tweeting and posting to our Facebook page through Perkville.

Does joining Perkville cost anything?

It's free for all users!

How do I earn points?

It's easy!  You can earn points by posting to social media, taking lessons and classes, referring friends and family or even for spectating our events.  Earn 25 points just for signing up!

How do I sign up?

Click on the Sign-Up Now button below and sign up either using your Facebook account or with an e-mail address.  Be sure to use the same e-mail address that you used when you signed up with our studio.

Check Your Points

When do my points show up in Perkville?

Points appear the day after the point earning service or activity is redeemed/checked-in.

How do I get points for posting to Facebook or Tweeting?

After signing up with Perkville, you will need to connect your Facebook and/or Twitter accounts to your Perkville account from your Perkville home page.

After connecting your account, you will see the box to write your post.

When does this program start?

Officially points start accumulating on Sunday, January 10, 2016.

Do any of my previous lessons, classes, spectating, social media posts and referrals count?

Only lessons, classes, spactator tickets etc. taken on or after January 10, 2016 count.  You may receive points for any referrals that have not been redeemded for a free private lesson.  Please let the front desk know after you've signed up that you wish to convert your referrals to Perkville points.

Does this replace your current referral program?

Yes it does.  Our previous referral program, which gave one free private lesson for three referrals that purchased a package of 4 or more private lessons is no longer in place.  You may receive points for any referrals that have not been redeemded for a free private lesson.  Please let the front desk know after you've signed up that you wish to convert your referrals to Perkville points.

When will I be awarded points for a referral?

Once you've sent a referral email to your friend through Perkville and your friend visits our studio and earns points for taking a class or lesson, you'll receive your points.

Who is eligible?

All clients of Cinema Ballroom are eligible.  Employees of Cinema Ballroom and their dependents and/or significant others are not eligible to accrue points or win prizes.

If we take lessons as a couple, do we both get points?

You can assign points taken together to one person or split the points in half.  Let the frontdesk know when you'd like to re-assign points earned as a couple.

Can I gift points to someone else?

Only the person who took the lesson or class, purchased the spectator ticket, or posted onto Facebook etc. can redeem points.  Points are non-transferrable.
