Cinema Ballroom hosts both a summer and a winter showcase event that offer students the opportunity to set a performance goal and to dance locally in front of their friends and family. Students may dance with one another or with their instructors in an evening that is filled with fun, support and great dancing!

SCHEDULE

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6

  • 3:00 pm
    Nightclub Dances
    Dancers will be dancing salsa, west coast swing, peabody, nightclub two-step, polka just to name a few.

  • 3:35 pm
    Solos
    Teachers and students will present unique and entertaining solo exhibitions.

  • 3:45 pm

    American Rhythm/Latin
    American style cha cha and rumba, east coast swing, bolero and mambo and International style cha cha and rumba, samba, paso doble, jive.

  • 6:20 pm

    Solos
    Teachers and students will present more unique and entertaining solo exhibitions.

  • 6:35 pm

    International Standard
    International style (also known as standard) ballroom dances: waltz, tango, viennese waltz, foxtrot and quickstep.

  • 7:40 pm

    American Smooth
    American style ballroom dances: waltz, tango, foxtrot and viennese waltz

  • 9:30 pm

    Professional Show
    Our professional dancers demonstrate professional level ballroom and latin dancing

TICKETS

Come watch and support our students as they perform for you in our annual showcase.

Students will be performing the waltz, cha cha, tango and more with each other and with their teachers. Some students will be performing their competition routines and others will be dancing pure lead and follow! Following the student showcase will be a professional show with some of the Midwest’s top professional dancers/teachers. 

Here’s your chance to watch some Dancing with our Stars in person!

All general admission tickets can be purchased in advance
and will be sold at the door pending the availability of space.

Tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable.

 Tickets will not be mailed, you will receive a confirmation for your order
and you can pick up tickets at the reception desk when you arrive.

Who can participate?

Pro/Am, Am/Am and Pro couples are all welcome.  Contact your private lesson instructor If you are interested in participating and they will help get you registered.
