Put the Swing in Your Ballroom

Put the swing into your ballroom dancing with internationally renowned coach Francesco Flumiani! This exciting workshop focuses on the International Style ballroom swing dances, helping dancers develop the rhythm, energy, timing, and character that make these dances come alive on the floor. Students will work on technique, body action, musical interpretation, and partner connection while learning how to create effortless movement and dynamic performance quality in dances such as Quickstep and Viennese Waltz-inspired swing actions within the International Standard style. Originally from Italy, Francesco Flumiani is a highly respected international adjudicator, coach, choreographer, and former professional competitor. His accomplishments include finalist honors at the prestigious British Open in Under 21 Standard, Bronze Medalist at the German Open Championships (GOC), and medalist at the UK Open Championships Rising Star Standard division. He has coached and judged dancers around the world and even appeared in the film Shall We Dance alongside Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your technique, improve your musicality, or bring more excitement and personality to your dancing, this class will leave you inspired and energized on the ballroom floor!
